Hi V, i just have a quick question about the Genesis universe; when it comes to sexuality, is gender a factor at all? I remember you talking about how genitalia depends on being an a/b/o rather than gender, but I wasn't sure if it was still a variable when it comes to attraction. Also, I really enjoyed the last chapter. I felt like it was a true turning point, but it wasn't done as carelessly and harshly as one usually sees in, well, everything. Excellent work, can't wait for the next chapter!

Nope, gender expression is just personal choice in Genesis. If I’d REALLY done the worldbuilding fully in-depth, I’d be writing it with in-world Alpha, beta, and omega-specific pronouns, too, but I thought that would be confusing with fic characters (since people already have associations with them) and require more non-character-based exposition than people would read. :\ There are parts of Genesis that talk about how people think Alpha/Alpha and omega/omega relationships are sinful/abnormal even though they’re obviously not uncommon (like Harry/Caroline or Zayn/Perrie).

You know I was just thinking about something like this the other day, but I want fandom friends too and in this fandom that's all on tumblr where everyone knows each other and follows each other it's actually really hard to befriend people. And the advice to just talk to your mutual follows or to go into someone's ask box randomly is scary and by now everyone's already following who they want and unless you're rec'd it's not going to happen. I miss LJ and message boards it was easier there. :(

on the subject of needing validation and praise (me again) I just wanted to say I need my family to praise me whenever I've done something I'm proud of otherwise I start worrying it wasn't actually that great, or I made the wrong decision or whatever fits the situation. They're really good about it and understand it's what I need so reading your post before made me think I should be a lot better about leaving feedback and not just assuming you know how great it is esp since I'm exactly the same
